As is usually the case, music drew us out of LVUHQ on Saturday afternoon to head to Hop Hill Brewing Company, who enjoyed the benefit of near-record high temps for the grand opening of its brand new Bethlehem location.
Kara Hartzell, bassist for Alex Mery & The Townsmen, told us about the event, as she would be providing some music to add to the day’s festive ambiance. Always willing to support a good friend of LVU and check out a new local business, we made plans to head down.
It’s a cool spot, and should definitely be on your list of local breweries to try out. I had a chance to try the Drinking Game Cream Ale, which was light and refreshing on a beautiful spring(?) day.
I had my camera on me, so I snapped a few photos of the day’s festivities. If you’re interested in swinging by sometime, their hours are 5-10 p.m. on Friday, 12-10 p.m. on Saturday, and 12-4 p.m. on Sunday.
