While we continue to digest the many tracks recently presented on Maverick da Roninn‘s newest mixtape, “Gamers Interlude 2,” we’ve been treated to a music video featuring two of the album’s strongest tracks.

The video, directed by WeL!iveTV and taped at various South Bethlehem locations including MVMNT Boutique on 3rd St., features tracks “Game Over” and “Star Cross” alongside fast-moving camera work and effects that make this piece visually reminiscent of the comic books that are so often the topic of Maverick’s raps.

The “Game Over” section of the video features Maverick delivering his clever, geek culture-based verses directly to the viewer with confidence and swagger. “Star Cross,” on the other hand, gets a bit more personal, showing the rapper on the phone and taking a more serious tone with the presumed object of his affection.
