Phillipsburg native Kayla Avitabile began 2018 by releasing her first music video, in support of her song “Awkward and Absent,” the lead single and spiritual title track from her EP, “The Difference Between Fine and Okay.”

The video, directed and produced by South Carolina-based cinematographer Justin Nix, was shot primarily in and around Easton’s Centre Square and features Avitabile alternating between performance shots and enjoying a beautiful fall day with a love interest.
