On Friday night, Easton’s Colonial Pizza and Spaghetti celebrated Valentine’s weekend adorned in shades of red… and black.
This was the first annual BlackHearts Party, featuring acoustic tales of love and loss from Roi and the Secret People’s Mike Roi and Jason Hedrington and specialty, craft cocktails from popular bartender Pippa Moody. The lighthearted evening provided an alternative spin on Valentine’s Day, catering to singles, as well as couples who look beyond the traditional — some would say “Hallmark” — ways to show each other affection.
Attendees heard favorite, love-and-loss-themed covers from Roi and Hedrington alongside originals and fun improvisations from the pair. The evening also featured a special appearance from globetrotting performer Mr. Drag, as well as a karaoke break for friends and fans to get in on the action.
