Even now, in our third year, there are venues that I have still yet to visit for one reason or another. Friday night marked my first time at Lost Tavern Brewing in Hellertown, where Billy Bauer and Chris Lorenzetti were doing their acoustic-electric duo thing all night long.
I’ll definitely be going back.
Some observations:
- Lost Tavern Brewing is a really cool space, and I’ll definitely be going back. The beer selection is robust, and the offerings are high-quality (I quickly became a fan of the “Here Gose Something” Gose).
- Major props to Switchback Pizza Co. out of Emmaus for coming through in the clutch with their pretty stellar farm-to-table pizza.
- Billy and Chris were as strong as ever, with Bauer’s roots and heartland rock sensibilities accented by the captivating aura of Lorenzetti’s electric violin.
All of the above factors combined to keep the place packed right up until closing time. We grabbed a few shots alongside this Facebook video to capture the essence of the evening. Hope you enjoy!
