Last month, Nashville symphonic rockers EverSōl released the cathartic single, “Runaway,” then dubbed “a pensive tale of re-invention” from the demons that once ruled us.

The video, of course, is every bit as powerful.

Directed by filmmaker Dylan Bass and featuring the acting talents of lead vocalist Keece alongside actor Robert Easley, the video includes powerful, symbolic imagery of the figurative chains — including depression and addiction — that hold us back from the people we are meant to become. This brings about, in the band’s words, a reflection “on feeling trapped by a life and an identity that hinders a life of authenticity and passion.”
