It had been a while since we enjoyed our live music with a side of brunch at The Listening Room.

So, we decided to break that drought on Saturday morning, when we headed to the iconic venue to enjoy another round of Picks & Pints, hosted by international-known songwriter and performer Alex Seier. The Philly-area native hosts the weekly series at The Listening Room, performing alongside some of Nashville’s accomplished songwriting talents.

In this case, those songwriters included Australian alt-country artist Katie Cole, who made her return to the Picks & Pints stage to perform selections from her 2018 EP, Things That Break Pt. 1, among others. Joining them was Raquel Aurilia, the Arizona-based songwriter whose journey caught our attention last fall.

Together, the trio made for an enjoyable brunch hour of songs and stories, tied together by a fun, light-hearted atmosphere. Take a look below!
