LISTEN: The Frst Offers Light and Hope with ‘Trust Fall’
Looking for a little shot of optimism through the weeds of everyday life? Try this on for size:
“And if you let go, let go
You may fall face down
But you know, you know
You are not alone on the ground
Let the trust fall catch you now”
Those lyrics are from the chorus of “Trust Fall,” the new single from self-proclaimed rock ‘n’ roll weirdo The Frst. Released on October 21, the punk-influenced single is an anthem made for moments where we have no choice but to meet our challenges head on, with an understanding that every storm does pass.
“‘Trust Fall’ is a bouncy hopebeat song about facing your fears, conquering your demons, and growing stronger,” The Frst noted.
As for production, there are some heavyweights behind this one! “Trust Fall” was mixed by Grammy winner Steve Hardy (Alicia Keys), and mastered by Andy VanDette (David Bowie, Sublime, Rush). Check it out!
