DESCRIPTION:NashLive! will make its long-awaited return to Cobra Nashville on Thursday\, April 14 by bringing a dose of rock to East Nashville. Joining this quest will be Pepperwood and Nicole Boggs & The Reel. \nPepperwood\, the brainchild of Nashville native songwriter Zach Wyatt\, has been described as many things — and most of them good. They have a hard time fitting into a specific sound\, as every band member listens to a wide range of genres with influences peppered throughout\, but they’ve been compared to Relient K\, Kings of Leon\, Colony House\, Temper Trap\, and others. \nRooted in three-part harmony and existential blues\, Nicole Boggs & The Reel inject rock & roll riffs and vindicated vocals into social commentary\, holding a mirror to the absurdity of modern life. Nicole Boggs (bass\, lead vox)\, Alex Kramer (guitars\, vox)\, and Sam Gyllenhaal (guitars\, vox) grew up in musical families and walked individual paths before coming together for their first official band release\, Scenes From Last Year\, in 2019. Dripping with razor-edged sarcasm\, their hard-hitting follow-up EP None of Your Business dropped in the summer of 2020\, in the depths of the first wave of COVID-19. Since then\,  the group has been honing their collective sound behind the scenes\, quietly and diligently working on their upcoming release\, Dystopian Book Club. SUMMARY:Alex Radus: 'Tributaries (Recorded Live at Godfrey Daniels)' Album Release
DESCRIPTION:Alex Radus will release his long-awaited third album\, Tributaries (Recorded Live at Godfrey Daniels)\, on April 7\, 2022. The album is uniquely centric to Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley region; it was recorded live at the legendary Southside Bethlehem listening room\, Godfrey Daniels\, and will be commemorated with a debut performance at Zoellner Arts Center\, on the campus of Lehigh University. \n\n\n\nRadus is known as a “sultry crooner” (City Paper) and “master guitarist” (Courier News)\, but his songwriting takes center stage\, pairing whimsical and poignant storytelling with a genre-bending mix of Americana\, swing\, blues\, folk\, and more. Radus has toured the country extensively and earned critical acclaim for his songwriting\, recording\, and performing. His music has been featured on radio\, television\, and film\, including Adolescence\, directed by Ashley Avis (Black Beauty). \nTributaries is a collection of Radus originals\, in celebration of a common theme: tributes to the people\, places and muses that inspire and shape us. How fitting\, then\, for Radus to record Tributaries at Godfrey Daniels\, an institution that is part of his family heritage. Radus’ uncle\, Doug (Ol’ Moose) Anderson\, performed at Godfrey’s with John Gorka\, Richard Shindell\, and Russ Rentler in the club’s formative years. \n“The musicians in my family were a huge influence growing up\, and Godfrey’s was part of the family folklore\,” says Radus. “This album celebrates the many tributaries that come together to shape our lives. Recording a collection of songs of tribute at such a storied venue was the perfect fit.” \nTributaries includes a live version of Radus’ fan favorite\, “We Can’t Play Like Django” – an homage to the guitar great\, Django Reinhardt. “Django” features jaw-dropping performances by Pyrenesia\, a Delaware Valley-based gypsy-swing quartet. Tributaries also includes songs in honor of Pennsylvania steel towns (“Monongahela”) and Radus’ daughters (“My Heart Will Stay” and “Prayer for Nicolette”). \n“I’m thrilled to release this album with a debut performance at Zoellner Arts Center”\, says Radus. “From inspiration\, to recording\, to release\, Tributaries is firmly rooted in the Lehigh Valley.”

Coming up in the fast-paced punk scenes of his high school days and the blues of Austin\, Texas\, there is an edge and energy that makes his songs stand out in Music City. After quickly coming up through the writing ranks in Nashville\, Sam turned his attention to his solo career\, amassing more than a million streams on Spotify with 40\,000 monthly listeners\, and multiple viral videos with more than 100\,000 TikTok followers. Coming off of multiple viral releases\, his latest single “Fall Down” is a hint in a new direction\, and a nod to his pop/punk and emo roots. \nFueled by the sound and passion of classic rock and roll music\, Alyssa Lazar brings a 1970’s nostalgia to today’s pop/rock music. Lazar grew up in Scranton\, PA\, constantly surrounded by music\, and began singing at the age of three.
