Erin is gearing up to release a new album later this summer\, with the first two singles — “Millie” and “Sunday Crowd” — available for streaming everywhere! \nSpeaking of powerhouse female musicians-slash-entrepreneurs\, J.Antonette certainly fits the description. In Los Angeles\, she sold out legendary venues such as The Viper Room\, The Whisky a Go-Go\, and the Troubadour. Chelsee also worked in performance licensing for years\, utilizing her music business degree. In 2019\, she toured the Caribbean with Norwegian Cruise Lines’ highest-rated rock show: Syd Norman’s Pourhouse. Chelsee credits her experience as a competitive figure skater with giving her the strength and endurance necessary to put out a powerhouse performance every night. As fiery as her red hair\, Chelsee’s rock vibe stands out in Nashville’s music scene! \nDrawing influence from Lou Reed\, Pavement\, Talking Heads\, and The National\, The Finites started as a studio recording outlet of Nashville producer Allan Fine. Live\, the synths are stripped away and replaced with electric guitars for an all-out\, rock ‘n roll sound. Current members are Hyde Ennis (Lead Guitar)\, Chris Augustinos (Bass)\, and Griffin Schwab (Drums). \nGood News For Modern Man was started by 22-year-old songwriter/guitarist and Virginia native Jackson Shockley. We’ll be graced by the talents of Josh Del\, YEARLOVE\, and Nicole Boggs & The Reel. \nTICKETS\nHailing from a small desert town in California\, later relocating to Nashville\, Tennessee\, Josh Del is no stranger to small town Americana. In 2019\, he wrote the anthem for When The Lights Went Down\, a documentary surrounding an iconic theater in Baytown\, Texas starring the late cowboy and Cocoon star\, Wilford Brimley. \nYEARLOVE is an alternative rock band residing in Nashville\, Tennessee. The band take cues from musicians all across the musical spectrum\, drawing influence from various genres such as rock\, pop\, alternative\, and jazz. YEARLOVE separates themselves from the indie scene by creating a modern\, yet nostalgic sound. \nRooted in three-part harmony and existential blues\, Nicole Boggs & The Reel inject rock & roll riffs and vindicated vocals into social commentary\, holding a mirror to the absurdity of modern life. Nicole Boggs (bass\, lead vox)\, Alex Kramer (guitars\, vox)\, and Sam Gyllenhaal (guitars\, vox) grew up in musical families and walked individual paths before coming together for their first official band release\, Scenes From Last Year\, in 2019. Dripping with razor-edged sarcasm\, their hard-hitting follow-up EP None of Your Business dropped in the summer of 2020\, in the depths of the first wave of COVID-19. Since then\, the group has been honing their collective sound behind the scenes\, quietly and diligently working on their upcoming release\, Dystopian Book Club\, set for release on August 1. \nIf that sounds like a good time to you\, join us at The Cobra Thursday\, September 15 starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10\, and you must be 21 or older to enter.

DESCRIPTION:NashLive! will be back at The 5 Spot on Thursday\, July 21 — and it will be a rock and roll party! \nOut of the flooded\, beer can strewn basements Nashville stumbles Greasediver. Emmett Rozelle sings and plays most of the instruments on their 2021 album\, In the Wake of the Past\, but he couldn’t have done it without the help of his friends. His partners in crime include but are not limited to: Zach D’Amico (engineering\, production\, drums)\, Peter Piscitelli (bass guitar)\, and Ian Colt (artwork\, cover design\, and the latest in a long line of celebrated Trench Dwellers). \nThe Mad Sugars are the songwriting vehicle of Adam Lawrence\, combining the dance rock of Franz Ferdinand\, the garage punk of The Hives\, and the vocal harmonies and party vibes of The B-52s as a backdrop for stories of nightlife misadventures. Hailing originally from NJ\, and later NYC\, Adam then relocated from New York to Nashville in 2017 and re-formed the band\, releasing Reboot in October of 2021\, containing reimagined renditions of older songs for the new Nashville audience. In recent years\, Adam has placed his songs in TV shows such as The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend\, Chicago Fire\, and Search Party\, and is finishing work on the band’s first full length album\, to be released in the fall of 2022. \nForts Like Vana are known around town for their lively stage performances and raw\, yet polished sound. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, June 19\, NashLive! will return to The East Room to present an eclectic lineup featuring Pepperwood\, Ali Aslam\, and Mary Jennings. \nPepperwood\, the brainchild of Nashville native songwriter Zach Wyatt\, has been described as many things — and most of them good. They have a hard time fitting into a specific sound\, as every band member listens to a wide range of genres with influences peppered throughout\, but they’ve been compared to Relient K\, Kings of Leon\, Colony House\, Temper Trap\, and others. You may also recall that they joined NashLive! in April at The Cobra alongside Nicole Boggs & The Reel\, and they tore it up! \nAli Aslam’s nuanced and expansive debut record\, The Last American\, easily holds seemingly conflicting but ultimately congruent perspectives in hand. One of the most optimistic\, yet daunting themes across the record lies in the idea that we are ultimately responsible for the world we create. Aslam’s songs let us know we’re doing okay\, but we can do better. “Is this what everybody’s dreaming?” he challenges us. Can we dream bigger\, more inclusively\, more expansively? \nWith a big voice and passionate\, honest words\, Mary Jennings is a fiery siren that packs a big punch with her small frame. Her highly personal and emotional singing style is raw and captivating. After years of touring and releasing music\, she has come home and carved out her space in the Nashville scene.
