Sunday, May 16: Three parts of Detroit muscle, one part New York soul: that’s how to best describe King Locomotive, a tip of the hat to all things rock, who kick things off at 7 p.m. CT. Joining them on the bill is Beyond Here (8 p.m. CT), a Nashville-based alternative rock band whose single “Go There” was premiered in
Nashville-based songstress Hollie Hammel — who has performed alongside artists including Brandi Carlile, Hans Zimmer, Lindsay Ell, and many others — will kick off the night at 7 p.m. CT. She will be followed at 8 p.m. CT by lo-fi pop artist Sally Duhon, whose debut single “Cozi” discusses mental health and self-awarness. Closing out the night at 9 p.m.
Borrowed Sparks’ debut album, The Prettiest One Left, has been described as “a prime cut of American rock and roll.” The Nashville-based band will perform songs from the record, as well as some soon-to-be-released material.
Joining Borrowed Sparks will be Stray Nova, a Tennessee-based trio whose brand of rock and roll includes a hint of blues and mischief.
