A Community Catalyst

Joe Baze is a business coach with a passion for social enterprise. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Joe became rooted in Nashville as a community catalyst after attending Fisk University in Fall 2007. From 2014-2019, Joe distinguished himself off-campus by leading notable community programs, such as the Jefferson Street Art Crawl, the Napier Day Block Party, and the Children’s Pavilion at the Jefferson Street Jazz and Blues Festival. In the Fall of 2018, Joe banded together with several other creative leaders in Nashville to start Ether Nashville.

Ether began an initiative to reclaim Hip Hop back from the grips of corporate giants, and put it back into the hands of genuine practitioners of the art form. It has grown into several components including Ether Collective, a creative development firm; he Heal Hop Legacy Foundation, the anchor organization behind a rising new subgenre called Heal Hop, as well as an ecosystem consisting of several other Nashville-based brands. In addition, Joe serves as one of the executive producers of the Mobile Melody Show.

In short, Joe is a Catalyst whose mission is to pour into creative leaders who are spirit-led and mission-driven.
