We deem it official: festival season has arrived!
It took me a minute to realize that one of my favorite weekends of the year has finally arrived. Through sitting in traffic on 222 (three times), to making sure I got to LAUNCH Headquarters on Prince St. to pick up my badge, I had a busy and eventful afternoon.
Once my feet touched down in downtown Lancaster, however, I knew I was in for a good time.
Last year, we had an amazing time at Lancaster’s Launch Music Conference. We learned from industry people who have been there, done it, and been there again, and we enjoyed a wide variety of incredible live performances from indie artists from the Lehigh Valley and (mostly) beyond.
With that, it’s safe to assume that we’ve been planning a return #LVURoadTrip to Lancaster ever since.
The conference portion of Launch Music Conference concluded Saturday afternoon, which meant it was time once again to hit the streets of Lancaster and check out the festival’s third and final night of performances.
Fest Friday continued into the night at Launch Music Conference in Lancaster, and believe me when I say: I’m glad I stuck around. There was some insane talent still to come as the sun set.
After a day jam packed with valuable education from a bevy of music industry professionals, it came time to party on a beautiful Friday evening in Lancaster, PA.

I got into the car immediately after work in Bethlehem on Thursday and made a beeline to Lititz, about 15 minutes north of downtown Lancaster, which is playing host to the Ninth Annual Launch Music Conference and Festival. My timing could not have been better. Read more
Spring came on strong in a big way this week in our region, making this the absolute perfect time to step out and go on a Lehigh Valley Underground Road Trip.
