Want great folk music? Want a fun, laid back open mic experience?

Why settle for one when you could have both this Thursday at 8:30 p.m.? That’s when SteelStacks’ Open Mic Night with local singer-songwriter Billy Bauer begins its weekly slot.

Joining Bauer this week is Allentown folk trio Alex Mery & The Townsmen. The band, whose six-track demo, “Safely On Your Way,” received rave reviews this past fall, are the featured act on a night when several local musicians will have the opportunity to showcase their talents.
