In addition to the plethora of Lehigh Valley artists set to rock you on this weekend’s May-riffic Music Festival bill, we have a few coming to us from just outside the region who might be new to you, and whom are sure to please with a variety of sounds.
Sunday starts off with a pair of acts from just outside what most would consider the Lehigh Valley. Country singer Hannah Violet, who splits her time between the Reading area and Nashville, opens the day with an acoustic set at 12 p.m. that we certainly suspect will feature songs from her album, “Violet Sky, which is available for purchase at CD Baby.
Enjoying the 1:15 timeslot — the one right after Hannah — is Harleysville sister duo Danielle & Jennifer. The pair — who has been performing since ages 4 and 6, respectively — already have a few pop singles to their credit, with the most recent being “April Fools” released, ironically, on April 30 of this year. Check it out below!
Then, as mentioned earlier this week right here on LVU, we will be joined Sunday evening at 5:15 p.m. by North Jersey natives The Outcrops. After the other day, you’re probably already a fan of this band’s brand of all-encompassing rock and roll, which makes it even more exciting that you get to hear them live this Sunday!
All told, we have no idea why you would have waited this long to get your weekend passes to May-riffic. It’s rain or shine, and you are guaranteed breathtaking performances, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to get your drink on. Just in case you’ve slacked, though, we just gave you four more good reasons.
Here’s the link again. See you this weekend!
