Third Mask Theatre Company is preparing to present CHICAGO: The Musical this week for its 2017 summer season, after obtaining rights to a show which is currently running on Broadway and enjoying a national tour.
“The cast is truly tackling this score and choreography as the writers intended, at high caliber,” said Nick Conti, Artistic Director. “Under the ritzy music and staging is a deeper and darker analysis of society. CHICAGO explores the way our culture creates superstars out of morally bankrupt characters like Velma, Roxie, and the corrupt lawyer Billy Flynn. This is truly a hilarious, upbeat, and cynical vaudeville experience!”
Chicago will run next weekend, with performances July 27-29 at 7 p.m., and a matinee performance Sunday, July 30 at 2 p.m. All performances are at Northeast Middle School (1170 Fernwood Street, Bethlehem). Tickets are $20, $15 for seniors (62+) and students, and $12 for kids 12 and under. For tickets and more information, visit this link.
