The Team Carly Rocks Foundation, inspired by young Lehigh Valley swimmer and diabetes advocate Carly Lenett, is hosting its Team Carly Rocks for a Cure benefit concert on Sunday, October 29 — and they’re employing the talent of some of the Valley’s most noteworthy musicians.
The event, set to take place from 12-6 p.m. at Schnecksville Fire Company Social Hall (4550 Old Packhouse Rd.), will feature of Brian Dean Moore Band, James Supra Blues Band, Scott Marshall & Marshall’s Highway, That Being Said, and Trick Stacy for a day full of music ranging from classic rock, to blues, to country and Americana.
The family-friendly event will also feature food trucks, a basket raffle, vendors, children’s activities, and a live broadcast from WZZO’s Samantha Layne from 12-2 p.m.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, and can be purchased from any of the bands or at Reiss Cycle (4685 Lehigh Dr., Walnutport). Those seeking more information can find it at TeamCarlyRocks.com.
