Back in January, Supreme Legends’ A Night in the Valley at One Centre Square served as our introduction to local rapper Rome Rizzo, whose presence stood out among a stacked night of hip hop talent and artistry.

It was only a matter of time before our paths crossed again, which they did when we came across Rome’s sensual new R&B tune, “Love is Like.”

Over a cool instrumental with a late-night vibe, Rome makes promises about a proposed after party for two, as he alternates between sung verses and a rap refrain. The contrast helps Rome deliver the feel of a classic slow jam, while having a hard enough edge to let you know he isn’t playing around.
