The first Thursday of June once again brought rock to the stage of Rivals Sports Bar & Restaurant in Easton, the monthly scene of Sounds of The Underground: Live!, presented by WLVU: The Sound of The Underground, The Balcony Show, and Gig Digger Entertainment.

This month saw a strong bill featuring two of the Valley’s up-and-coming rock acts. Industrial/avant-garde quintet EDEN took their turn first, delivering a strong and sonically eclectic performance complete with ambient soundscapes and driving rhythms.

Up next, Alpha Zero Three took the stage, delivering a pair of sets that seemed to get even stronger and tighter as the night went on. Set highlights included the intricate, face-melting guitar and bass work of original tune “Ghost,” as well as a pulsing cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “The Hand That Feeds” to close the night.
