In Easton, the local artist community has responded to help a friend in his time of need.

Local man Ryan Jones was recently diagnosed with cancer. In support, Connexions Gallery (213 Northampton St., Easton) will host a special benefit event this Saturday, June 23 from 6-9 p.m.

The evening will be highlighted by live entertainment, provided by Doyle & the Deubs and a host of other local musicians. Refreshments will also be available, with beer being provided from nearby Two Rivers Brewing Company.
