Musicians need places to play. So, it’s only fitting that, on an #LVUFirstFriday, our Shout ‘Em Out series continues with the establishments that open their doors to live entertainment.

Let’s hear from you. Think about the places that you gig — locally, regionally, or even beyond. What makes a spot a great place to play? Some things to consider:

• The overall atmosphere (crowd, vibe, etc.)
• Location
• Do they support artistry (important for original musicians)?
• Compensation — do they take care of the artists?
• Do they pitch in with promotion?
• Other factors, such as in-house sound, stage, lights, and other amenities
