With a distinctive voice and crafty acoustic guitar work, San Diego’s Mighty Mage (real name Khalid Hussain) has released a tender, yet dynamic single titled “Forgot the Way.”

The single is a part of “Ancient Scrolls ’06-’15,” a 21-track anthology of Mighty Mage’s early works. The tune is rooted in folk traditions, brightly colored with intricate instrumentation that subtly builds as the singer pleads with his lover to stay and work through troubled times.
