This time, Slow Drag mastermind Austin James has released “Assassin,” a defiant tune about standing up and battling back in the face of personal challenges. “Assassin” combines The Slow Drag’s trademark pop rock sensibility with the rawness of blues, the soul and rhythm of jazz, and a rebellious edge to create a sax-infused anthem that is equal parts groove and grit.
