Pennsylvania native Anthony Cubbage has gained a reputation as one of the region’s most versatile and prolific songwriters. Whether performing with his full band, Cubbage, or venturing out on a new solo project, you can be sure he always has something coming down the pike for your enjoyment.

So, here’s something older made new: Cubbage’s song “Disappear” re-imagined as a piano ballad.

Cubbage released a live-to-tape video performance of the song, which is the opening track of his 2016 debut EP, Here & Now. Directed, filmed, and colored by videographer Mitchell Straub, the video features Cubbage alone in a room at a keyboard, hammering out the song’s chords with precision and flair as he delivers an impassioned vocal performance.
