We’re going to break, for just a moment, from covering the local artists to our scene and turn our attention to the Musikfest Sands Steel Stage. Despite being six months away, the 10 coveted main stage slots are already filling up.
Full disclosure: We’re more than a little excited for Friday, when the First Annual Lehigh Valley Underground Winter Jamboree will take place at American Spirits Roadhouse. We hope that you are, too.
We’ve been talking a lot about big shows lately here at Lehigh Valley Underground. From announcing our First Annual Winter Jamboree, to presenting you with our take on a big opportunity with Bon Jovi, it appears as though 2017 is setting up nicely for all levels of the live scene.
Hey, in case you haven’t heard, the year changed over to a new one on Sunday.
In our pledge to reach more of our scene than ever in 2017, we’re making a point to reach out more to you, People of the Underground, to see what you have going on. Obviously, that includes anything released by those of you who are musicians.
The gifts are unwrapped. The Christmas trees have been tossed. Tomorrow night, we’ll all (safely) party with loved ones to say goodbye to the old and hello to the new. 2016, effectively, is a wrap.
With what figures to be a big 2017 for the Lehigh Valley music scene, excuse us if we’re looking a bit past Santa’s arrival, and to the world of possibilities that lies just eight days in the future.
We all have a holiday wish list. Some desire world peace, while others just want a slightly better world where chaos and destruction won’t seem so imminent.
