On Tuesday night, we rang in 2025 with 200,000 of our closest friends.
The masses descended upon Bicentennial Capitol Mall for Nashville’s Big Bash — the nationally broadcast country music New Year’s Celebration. This year’s edition — which we live-blogged from the scene of the action — featured performances from Keith Urban (who also co-hosted the CBS telecast following his performance), Shaboozey, Brittney Spencer, Kane Brown, and local legend Jelly Roll.
Spirits remained high throughout the night, even as snow flurries began to fall at different points throughout the event. Overall, the party was a fitting send-off to 2024, and an exciting start for the year to come.
2021 was a stellar and transformative year; one where we witnessed the triumphant return of live, non-virtual music. To celebrate, the folks behind NashLive! have one more trick up our sleeves as we say hello to the New Year.
On Friday, January 28, we’ll be back at The East Room — the site of our return to live action back in May, and the venue we’ve frequented the most in 2021 — for NashLive! A Night to Remember: A Belated New Year’s Experience! This evening will feature all the bells and whistles you could expect from a New Year’s Eve party, including a champagne toast, a best-dressed contest with prizes, live music, and a late-night set from DJ Vu to help us ring in 2022!
As for the live music portion? We’ve got an all-star pop lineup to set things off, with performances from:
