Jonah Kagen Announces Headline Tour in Support of New Album, ‘Eternity of Anything’

Jonah Kagen has become a rising force in the Americana world over the past few years, and his legend will grow upon the release of his sophomore album, Eternity of Anything (available everywhere October 30).

To celebrate the release of the album, the Savannah, GA native is embarking on a quick, intimate acoustic fall tour through select cities — with a Nashville date at The Basement on tap for Sunday, November 22.

Here are the cities where you can catch Jonah Kagen on the road this fall!

The tour was announced after the postponement of Dermot Kennedy’s The Weight of the Woods tour, which Kagen was scheduled to support. It’s an opportunity for fans to get up close and personal with Kagen as he performs songs from the new record, alongside favorites from 2025’s breakthrough, Sunflowers and Leather.

In contrast to its predecessor, Eternity of Anything is an introspective effort; one which resulted from the troubadour working in near-isolation. For “an intense two-to-three-month” stretch, Kagen finely tuned every detail — recording, writing, producing, recording, engineering and mixing the album himself, while keeping the record from outside ears until its completion.

Tickets for the fall tour are available now, and can be purchased at jonahkagen.com/tour. While you wait for the album (and your tour stop of choice), get a sneak preview with “Do Better” and “Don’t Feel Right” below!

Halloween is ARREIS’ birthday. This year, it also served as the backdrop for a celebration of her new single, “Straight to Hell.”

P.S.: “Straight to Hell” was one of our Songs You Should Hear last week.

When Derek Webb released Stockholm Syndrome in 2009, it was equally experimental and controversial. The album’s urban electronica landscape was a noted departure from Webb’s singer-songwriter roots, while the record found itself under record label censorship due to its unabashed critiques on political and spiritual matters.

On Friday night, Webb celebrated 10 years of his landmark album at The Basement in Nashville, trading in the album’s multi-layered soundscapes for an evening of acoustic interpretations.

The Delta Rae Revival: A Unique and Immense Live Music Experience

I originally heard about Delta Rae while living up in Bethlehem, PA. The lively country six-piece has come up to Christmas City a handful of times in the past, and even won our hearts with a high-powered song about the rise and fall of Bethlehem Steel on 2015’s “After It All.” Even so, I had never gotten the chance to take in the full, live Delta Rae experience…

…until Wednesday night.

Review: Stay Loud Delivers on Their Name on ‘The Basement’

Artist: Stay Loud
Album: The Basement – EP
Released: May 13, 2017
Genre: Pop Punk/Alternative

Perhaps it’s fitting that we, being Lehigh Valley Underground, are about to review an EP called “The Basement” by Northeast PA pop punks Stay Loud. After all, the #GoUnderground hashtag might suggest to some that we’ve dwelled in plenty of basements in our day.

Destined to escape their basement, however, is this four-piece alt-rock powerhouse, who stays true to their name with a high-energy, emotionally-charged effort.
