Calling all actors: If you’re looking for an onstage role to flex your theatrical muscles, Oct 14 Publishing and Artist Management has an opportunity for you.

The independent publishing and artist management firm will soon hold auditions for the stage production of “Interlude to Sentimental Me,” based on a poetry volume written by Oct 14 founder and play director Michael Judkins.

“Interludep to Sentimental Me” follows Mercury, a 30-something male who struggles with his desire to pursue his dream of becoming an artist. Despite the instability of his career choice, Mercury realizes that his art is the only thing that keeps him stable.”

A full list of roles is as follows:

Mercury: Male, early 30’s. Lead role
Susan: Social worker and childhood friend to Mercury
Leif: Young man in his early 20’s
Solei: Mercury’s sister, late 20’s
Flora: Young girl (approx. 12-14 years old)
Fiona: Flora’s foster mom; woman in her 40’s
Neighborhood kids: Four children ages 7-12
Alicia: Solei’s friend; woman in her late 20’s
Crystal: Solei’s friend; woman in her late 20’s
Mr. Wakefield: Neighbor; man in his late 50’s
Mrs. Rosalsky: Neighbor; woman in her mid-40’s
