PHOTOS: Out to Lunch Concert Series: Carter Lansing

This summer’s Out to Lunch Concert Series got off to a great start in any weather!

The threat of rain moved the inaugural Out to Lunch session — a joint production of LVU and SouthSide Arts District — indoors from the South Bethlehem Greenway. Thanks to a special assist from our friends at Roasted (22 W. 4th St., Bethlehem). That was where Carter Lansing, frontman of LVMA-winning Acoustic Kitty Project, performed a two-hour set to a full room of lunch patrons.

Lansing’s set — consisting mostly of his impassioned outlaw country originals from records “‘Shine” and “Saturday Night” — proved a good fit for the venue, and provided a preview for Friday night’s First Friday Concert Series action, during which Lansing is set to perform at Domaci (21 E. Third St.) beginning at 7 p.m.
