Even when we make the “full” #LVUFirstFriday lineup announcement, you should know that there always might be another ace or two up our sleeves…

This time, those aces are in the deck — and in one case, on the deck — for The Funhouse’s July 2018 First Friday festivities. A night of crafty musicianship is in store at 5 E. 4th St., beginning with a set from acoustic folk duo The Ancient Oaks from 7-9 p.m. on the back deck (weather permitting). If it rains, they’ll simply be moved inside, ensuring you get to enjoy the music either way.

Then, The Funhouse’s typical late night slot is a twin bill, with local psychedelic funk rockers Appalachian Gypsy Tribe sharing the night with Sun & Rain, bringing their brand of fusion rock to First Friday all the way from Harrisburg.
