It’s been a little while since we checked in with The Howling Tongues.The Atlanta-based garage rockers have been hard at work, staying on the road and working on following up 2016’s full-length effort, “Boo Hiss.”

On Halloween, the band released a preview of what the future sounds like with the holiday-appropriate “Fever Dream.” The fun, ever-so-slightly-haunting power rocker features a catchy melody, memorable guitar licks, and a drum bridge that adds a somewhat tribal sensibility for good measure.
