Checking In with Philly Natives, Moonroof

It’s always exciting to find new music in our inbox, and we’re stoked about this recent submission from Philadelphia-based indie pop quartet, Moonroof, that recently came into our hands.

Let’s start with the most recent single, “Be Somebody.” A sunny, feel-good anthem, the single relates to those trying to find their way in the world by preaching appreciation for the blessings we have, and acceptance of the things we don’t. Check it out below!

If you enjoyed that, you might be even more excited about preceding single, “Honey Honey.” Bright tones from guitarist Nick Cellucci
create something of a romantic atmosphere that, when combined with the steadfast work of drummer Dan Rendine, becomes quickly reminiscent of the recently-defunct Minus the Bear (RIP), all while vocalist Dave Kim sings sweetly of holding on to the love he’s found with every fiber of his being.

Surely, by now you want to learn everything you can about Moonroof. Go ahead and do that at their website.
