All of our Daily Spinns this week have come from East Coast bands. Let’s head out west for your Friday.
Back in October — mere weeks before we changed our name and moved halfway across the country — we began to expand our horizons a bit by featuring more artists from outside of our cozy Pennsylvania confines. One of the first of this movement was Seattle-based Glorybots and their song “Dream About Nothing.”
The tune — included on the band’s since-released debut LP, Dark Alien Pop — features an absolutely killer bass line, spacy synths, and an otherworldly, new wave ambiance.
