In March, the world was treated the debut single from Nashville’s Thunder Eagle.

The duo — featuring guitarist and singer Frank Patrick James alongside drummer John Dudley — have released “Double Bed,” a hazy, melodic, and certainly infectious new rock and roll offering. The track features James singing of a lover who left him with nothing but questions (and an empty space in his bed). He does this while delivering fuzzy, muscular riffs under an ambient, Brit-pop inspired fog. Dudley, meanwhile, keeps things moving on the kit, providing “Double Bed” with a rollicking backbone.
