Catch a Summer Vibe with Jack Vinoy’s Latest, ‘SIGNAL’

As summer rages on, Jack Vinoy has returned to turn up the heat just a little bit more.

The St. Petersburg, Florida native brought out the big guns for “SIGNAL,” a warm and summery alt-pop anthem that is jam-packed with boom bap drums, tall stacks of vocal harmonies, and an overall bouncy energy. The single marks new territory for Vinoy; he enlisted the help of several new collaborators, including Florida-based vocalist Fesssi K., mix engineer Coleman Sutton (Ron Obasi, Chuck Indigo, Jxdece), and GRAMMY-winning engineer Pete Novak (Outkast, Mariah Carey, Alanis Morissette), who mastered “SIGNAL.”

“This is the most excited I’ve ever been about sharing a new song,” Vinoy said. “This release shows a lot of evolution from my previous album, Solace, and shows the new direction I am taking.”

The carefree ambiance of “SIGNAL” runs counter to its theme of feeling stuck, diffusing the tension of heavier feelings with a light attitude that is reminiscent of warm sunshine.
