It took me a minute to realize that one of my favorite weekends of the year has finally arrived. Through sitting in traffic on 222 (three times), to making sure I got to LAUNCH Headquarters on Prince St. to pick up my badge, I had a busy and eventful afternoon.
Once my feet touched down in downtown Lancaster, however, I knew I was in for a good time.
Last year, we had an amazing time at Lancaster’s Launch Music Conference. We learned from industry people who have been there, done it, and been there again, and we enjoyed a wide variety of incredible live performances from indie artists from the Lehigh Valley and (mostly) beyond.
With that, it’s safe to assume that we’ve been planning a return #LVURoadTrip to Lancaster ever since.
It finally seems, at long last, like the weather is about to break and feel a little more spring-y.
That makes this the perfect weekend to get out there, whether staying local or taking a little road trip. We have some advice on how to do both in this week’s…
The 10th annual LAUNCH Music Conference takes place next month in downtown Lancaster. We’ll be heading out there to get edumacated in new music and industry trends.
And, once again, we’ll be in good and familiar company.

Back in August, Our Lady Peace released Volume 1 of “Somethingness,” containing four tracks that would appear on the band’s forthcoming, full-length album. We had a lot of positive things to say about the band and its growth when “Somethingness Vol. 1” came out and, as we could be sure at the time, it was only a sign of things to come.

NEPA classic rock radio station Rock 107 announced that they will host Warrant at their 38th Birthday Bash on Wednesday, April 4 at The Woodlands Experience in Wilkes-Barre.
