A quick note on what you are about to read: this isn’t the final version of our June 2018 Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series lineup, sponsored by SouthSide Arts District and Banko Beverage Co. and set for South Bethlehem on Friday, June 1. We’re still working on finalizing one or two more venues (and their associated acts). So, expect additions to this before too long.
First Fridays in South Bethlehem now include a little something more for the late-night crowd.
With the May edition of #LVUFirstFriday, we ushered in a new era – the Banko Beverage Co. Beer Garden Era. During the warm weather months, you will now have the chance to come to the South Bethlehem Greenway (Mechanic St. between Webster and Adams) during First Friday, where you can enjoy and appreciate a selection of beers, yard games, and music presented by our friends at Banko, alongside LVU and SouthSide Arts District.
And, in case you’re wondering who you’ll feast your ears upon this summer (and into the fall), we have an answer!

Lehigh Valley-based roots rockers The Hook are in the midst of a busy spring. In addition to releasing their full-length debut, “Moonshine & Honey,” last month, the foursome is also featured in our Voices column in the spring edition of Fig Bethlehem (as depicted above).
Through all of this, the band is still finding time to give back.
