Local indie rock favorites Slingshot Dakota are coming back to SteelStacks this July – and they’re bringing company!
Austin-based electronica duo Missio will perform at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks’ Musikfest Cafe on Saturday, July 1 at 8 p.m.
Comprised of Matthew Brue and David Butler, Missio broke on to the influential Alt-18 Countdown of SiriusXM’s Alt Nation earlier this year with its single, “Middle Fingers,” with the song topping the countdown the week of April 3. The single precedes the duo’s much-anticipated full-length debut, LONER, slated for release May 19.
The duo’s Bethlehem stop is just one in a busy year. Missio embarked on a major U.S. tour as topliners for Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement Tour with 888, Coast Modern, and Sundara Karma. The pair is also making a number of festival appearances throughout the spring and summer, including Hangout Music Festival in Alabama May 19, Firefly Music Festival in Delaware June 16, and Lollapalooza in Chicago on Aug. 4.Â
Tickets to see Missio at SteelStacks go on sale this Friday, April 21 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $10-$15 in advance and $12-$17 on the day of the show.
