For us, Friday night was bound to be a special one. It was the night of the inaugural Underground Writers Round; our first-ever event in Nashville, and a showcase for six of the city’s most prolific up-and-coming songwriters.

Underground Writers Round Time Slots Announced

We stopped by Douglas Corner Cafe on Friday night, just to hang out, meet some folks, and hear some music. Now, we’re even more excited for this Friday’s Underground Writers Round than we were before.

Everyone was super nice and helpful, and the room sounds great. Surely, then, the six songwriters we have lined up for our first-ever Nashville event will sound spectacular.

UMC to Present First Underground Writers Round Sept. 27

Back in 1987, Douglas Corner Cafe was founded “to create a music venue aimed at showcasing new singers and songwriters in Nashville.” In the years since, the showcase venue has hosted a mile-long list of prolific artists, from Alan Jackson, to Trisha Yearwood, to Blake Shelton.

With that said, it is our absolute honor to team with this historic venue to showcase some of Nashville’s brightest up-and-coming stars!
