Nov. 15 Underground Writers Round Time Slots Announced

It’s almost here! Next Friday, November 15, we’ll head back to Nashville’s historic Douglas Corner Cafe for the next installment of the Underground Writers Round.

We already announced the lineup of six of Nashville’s most prolific up-and-coming songwriters. What we haven’t yet told you, however, is when each of these six songwriters will be performing.

We’ve been waiting patiently for the November edition of the Underground Writers Round at Douglas Corner Cafe for what feels like forever. In reality, it’s been since right around the time the last one ended.

Certainly, you understand why. We had a fantastic night full of positive energy and incredible songwriting talent. Now, we’re ready to do it again with an all-new lineup!

Back in March, we told you about J.Antonette, the rising country pop singer who had recently released a potential crossover hit with her single, “Something I Said.”

Much has happened in that time. For one thing, she came to Nashville and decided to stay. And, somewhere in the midst of coming to Music City and beginning to write at a superhuman pace, she found time to drop some visuals for the aforementioned single.

The unique thing about Whiskey Jam at Winner’s Bar and Grill — and really, about being in Nashville overall — is you never know who you’re going to run into. Some of today’s rising stars and GRAMMY winners have performed on that stage on a Monday or Thursday night, making the twice-weekly tradition a growing institution and proving ground for the country and Americana stars of tomorrow.
