On ‘I’ve Done Wrong,’ Stefan Heuer Owns His Part

There is great humility (and opportunity for personal growth) in the realization that you’ve messed up.

Stefan Heuer investigates his side of the conflict on “I’ve Done Wrong,” a slick, gorgeous piece of modern pop featuring a verse from UMC UnderDog Foundation Mecca.

Produced by Fabian Balz and Porter Hall, “I’ve Done Wrong” is a contrite mid-tempo tune which calls to mind the sleepless nights we’ve all spent, ruminating on things unsaid and the ways we’ve fallen short. Heuer — with an assist from the Heal Hop architect — provides us all with an opportunity to reflect, while acknowledging that accountability, self-reflection, and forgiveness are all necessary stops on the road to reconciliation.

At press time, “I’ve Done Wrong” has already accumulated nearly 10,000 total in just four days after its release. Once you listen, we have a feeling you’ll want to run those numbers up even more!

LISTEN: Sid Seth Invites Us to Ride a Different ‘Wave’

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Spooky Season, it’s that it can be fun to put on a mask and pretend to be somebody else.

That makes this the perfect opportunity to share “Wave,” the latest single from accomplished New York-based songsmith Sid Seth. Produced by the renowned Al Carlson (Lady Gaga, Slaters, Roy Blair, Jessica Pratt), this breezy pop tune features clean guitars, a Caribbean-inspired beat, and silky-smooth vocals, as Seth sings of joys of finding temporary refuge from who we’re “supposed to be.”

“(‘Wave’) is about putting on an alter ego for a night and letting that persona take over,” Seth said.

“Wave” is making waves across multiple media outlets in the U.S. and abroad, including Galore Magazine, Ones to Watch, ASCAP NMF, Future Hits Radio UK, and WFUV 90.7fm. Meanwhile, Seth is currently in the midst of a coast-to-coast U.S. tour, with planned stops in San Francisco, Chicago, Boston and New York.

Go on — let yourself ride a different “Wave” for a change. Listen below!

LISTEN: On ‘bad guy,’ Brooke Martin Flies Past the Red Flags

Raise your hand if you’ve ever ignored the red flags in a relationship.

If you put your hand up, Nashville-based pop artist Brooke Martin has something fresh for you. Her new single, “Bad Guy,” is a mellow cautionary tale about what it means to ignore the warning signs.

The project began when Australian-based producer Mark “New Haven” Benedicto (Imagine Dragons) reached out to Martin via TikTok. After they connected, Martin teamed up with co-writers Colleen Francis, Tom Pino, and John Frank to bring the idea to life.

“I’m very excited about this song,” Martin said. “It’s my first release with Mark, so when messaged me and wanted to work with me, I jumped at the chance. He’s an amazing producer. And his timing was perfect, because I had a song idea I thought would resonate with every girl who ignores the red flags in relationships.”

If you’re looking for more where this came from, you won’t have to wait long. Martin is working on a forthcoming EP Billboard-charting producer and artist Andrew Kirk and Grammy-winning producer Chris Penny, set for release in 2025.

WATCH: Miles Squiers Explores Fragile Relationships on ’24 Hours’

Having trouble getting on the same page as your partner? If so, we think this will resonate…

Miles Squiers dropped “24 Hours” back in December as a “deep exploration of strained and fragile relationships.” Blurring the lines between acoustic pop and contemporary R&B, this fresh single provides the perfect soundtrack for some late-night introspection, as Squires details the disconnect between a woman with trust issues, and a man who falls short of alleviating them.

The music video — directed by James Gerrard, Squiers, and Josef Lloyd — shows Squiers as a male protagonist who will seemingly do whatever he can to escape facing the uncomfortable tension within his own home. From overworking, to staying out a little too late, his character does whatever he can to delay facing the inevitable questions that await him behind closed doors.

Celebrate Your Crazy with Yarin Glam’s ‘BURN IT DOWN’

If they’re going to call you crazy, you might as well own it.

On her new single, “BURN IT DOWN,” Yarin Glam explores a sense of ownership of the parts of ourselves that are hardest to love. A ethereal alt-pop soundscape — coupled with Glam’s stirring R&B vocals — paint a liberating picture, inspired by the breakup story of her sister and her ex-boyfriend.

“She’s a person that owns herself 100 percent; she loves her crazy side and she’ll always say it,” Glam said. “‘BURN IT DOWN’ is a song where you can own your ‘crazy’ and celebrate it.”

Go ahead. Watch the world burn…

Start Your Week with Something to Make You ‘Dance’

I was six years old in 1993, when Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers premiered to the world. Like many kids of my generation, I was captivated by this show. In particular, I found myself drawn toward one Ranger in particular. That would be Zack Taylor, the Black Power Ranger portrayed by Walter Emanuel Jones.
