The Quinn Spinn: Gussapolooza 2026, Day 3

Our pop-up tent got destroyed. The rain made everything MOIST. And yet, we persisted, delivering a series of interviews from the third and final day of Gussapolooza 2026.

We spent this episode venturing out to other people’s booths, chatting with some of the visual artists in residence about their creative processes and inspirations. We also happened to get everyone’s stances on AI use in the arts… and we found some varying perspectives among the group.

Thank you to everyone at Gussapolooza — especially Gary from Barrie, Bad Club Media, and At the Scene Photography — for getting us back up and running after the storm tried to take us out!

The Quinn Spinn: Live from Gussapolooza 2025 Day 1!

In August, we traveled all the way up to Cookstown, Ontario, Canada to once again take part in Gussapolooza, one of Canada’s premier independent music festivals. We took it upon ourselves to bring the ol’ 12-channel mixer and invite attendees to chat with us throughout the weekend — whether artist, industry supporter, volunteer, vendor, patron, or any combination thereof.

On Day 1, we sat down with singer-songwriter John Peterkin, punk rocker (and 2025 Gussapolooza Battle of the Bands winner) Feura, Jake and Mike from Bad Music Club, and LA-based genre-bending artist Edi Callier.

For the season finale of Da’ Healerz Circle, we decided to do something special: invite Da’ Healerz themselves to share about the depth of their individual healing journeys.

And so, I volunteered to put my interviewer hat on to sit down with each Lord Goldie and Foundation Mecca, as they shared the details of their individual upbringings, the evolution of their healing journeys, and the changing narrative of hip hop.

Bronnie and Mason Levi first joined The Quinn Spinn on a visit to Nashville back in 2022. Since then, our creative journeys have taken many exciting turns. For them, they shifted their musical focus from pop punk to country — while seamlessly bringing their friends and fans along for the ride!

We got together and caught up during the duo’s most recent trip to Nashville — an adventure that has spawned new musical ideas and performance opportunities, setting the tone for the exciting road ahead!
