A quick note on what you are about to read: this isn’t the final version of our June 2018 Lehigh Valley Underground First Friday Concert Series lineup, sponsored by SouthSide Arts District and Banko Beverage Co. and set for South Bethlehem on Friday, June 1. We’re still working on finalizing one or two more venues (and their associated acts). So, expect additions to this before too long.

After a spirited Friday night that saw standout performances across SouthSide Arts & Music Festival’s free and ticketed stages, Saturday came around, proving to be a strong follow-up to bring the weekend full-circle.
We had a blast last night, capturing Night 1 of our SouthSide Arts & Music Festival lineup (presented in conjunction with ArtsQuest). Now, it’s on to Night 2!
On Friday night, festival season arrived to South Bethlehem.

The Lehigh Valley Underground free stage lineup at the SouthSide Arts & Music Festival is designed to give local artists — both established and emerging — a platform on which to shine.
One of those emerging names — singer-songwriter Cass Noelle — has been shining at SteelStacks Open Mic, presented by Billy Bauer for several months. Now, she moves into the festival realm, set to perform at Molly’s Irish Grille & Sports Pub this Saturday, April 21 from 6-7:30 p.m.
We caught up with Cass to talk about the gig, her influences, and everything else she has going on.
Earlier this week, the prospect of a possible snowstorm on Friday had us carefully watching the forecast, giving us flashbacks to when we had to cancel the March edition of First Friday.
Fortunately for us, Mother Nature not only showed mercy this time around, but cooperated in a big way by giving us a beautiful spring afternoon for our biggest First Friday since October.
