Candlebox’s Brian Quinn to Headline American Spirits Roadhouse ‘Acoustic Storytellers Night’ Dec. 1

Acoustic storytelling and fine food and drink? Sounds like a great night to us.

When the storytelling is done, in part, by Candlebox rhythm guitarist Brian Quinn? That makes things even better.

That will be the case on Thursday, December 1, when American Spirits Roadhouse in Asbury, NJ hosts the guitarist for its Acoustic Storytellers Night, an intimate evening of music that will also feature local artists Zed D’Lance, Paul Knakk, and Julia Sommer.

Quinn joined the Candlebox lineup in 2015, joining in time to be a part of the band’s latest effort, “Disappearing in Airports,” released this past April. The band, originally formed in 1990, is known for rock radio hits such as “Far Behind” and “You.”

Stay tuned to Lehigh Valley Underground and our partners, DustinSchoof.com, for updates on this great night of music. Tickets will be available at the door for $10. For more information, check in on Facebook.

Review: Alpha Zero Three – Ghost

Artist: Alpha Zero Three
Track: Ghost (LISTEN)
Released: June 30, 2016
Genre: Hard Rock

Since making their live debut at The Originals Music Series in May, the guys in Alpha Zero Three have been hard at work in the studio. That much is apparent on the band’s blistering new track, “Ghost.”

Starting off with an impressive metal riff from guitarist Jeff Smith, the pace of “Ghost” stays fast and never relents. Backed by driving rhythms, frontman Monty Leach delivers a powerful vocal that resides somewhere between the passion of Chris Cornell and the melody of Dave Grohl and company.

They’re only a few songs in, and already, Alpha Zero Three has proven themselves a versatile and multi-talented rock band. We can’t wait to see where the road leads next on their rock journey.
