We’ve got one of those “any night of the week” type of weeks coming up. That is to say, the Valley’s music scene can blow you away on any given night.

The May-riffic Music Festival — presented by Lehigh Valley Underground and American Spirits Roadhouse on Saturday, May 13 — will feature a diverse lineup of rock, Americana, country, and more.
Today, we address the “rock” portion.
Over the past year, Rofo Audio has proven to be one of the hottest and most talented up-and-coming rock bands on our scene. This has resulted in the band receiving a good amount of local support from fans and music support organizations throughout eastern PA.
First, let me start by saying that this category, like all of them, could have gone a number of ways. For example, I could have chosen a song with the grit of Roi & the Secret People’s “Hungry.” Just as tempting was the prospect of choosing VoirVoir’s youthful anthem, “I Wanna,” or virtually any track from Rofo Audio. In the end, however, I went a bit south to Philly, where The Wayside Shakeup released their single, “Stay Up,” earlier this year.
This week, Saturday seems to be the day around here. With shows happening across genres and at different venues throughout the region, you could very well have a Super Saturday of your own.
