Bluegrass sensations The Infamous Stringdusters, indie rockers Delta Rae, folk singer-songwriter Dar Williams, popular Talking Heads Tribute “Start Making Sense,” and blues guitarist Mr. Sipp highlight the 2018 SouthSide Arts & Music Festival, taking place April 20-21 in Bethlehem. The festival, presented by Capital BlueCross, offers attendees a dynamic mix of music and art experiences, and is designed to shine the spotlight on Bethlehem’s SouthSide Arts District. Saturday night had the feel of festival season, with a balmy, beautiful summer-like night serving as the backdrop for the second and final night of ArtsQuest’s 2017 SouthSide Arts & Music Festival
One of the coolest things about our area is its emergence as a live music destination. In addition to all of the great, homegrown talent in our own backyards, the Lehigh Valley attracts national and international touring acts to perform on a regular basis.
One of those acts is Indian singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad, who comes to Bethlehem’s National Museum of Industrial History today at 6:30 p.m. to perform as part of ArtsQuest’s Southside Arts & Music Festival.
We checked in with Prateek when he arrived to stateside on Thursday with a few questions.
