No Sugarcoating Allowed with The Poptimist’s Taylor Berryman

The word “sugarcoat” is not in Taylor Berryman‘s vocabulary. As host of his own podcast, The Poptimist, Taylor leaves no stone unturned, and shows no fear as he goes deep on topics from the music industry, to the state of society, to his own life experience.

Taylor is also a musician with a number of projects in and around Nashville, as well as an avid Yankees fan. We touch all of that and a whole lot more on today’s Quinn Spinn!

LISTEN: The Poptimist Gets Real About Our Internal Struggles

“The first casualty of adult life is innocence.”

I had the pleasure of being on The Poptimist (hosted by Taylor Berryman) a couple months back. What I appreciate about Taylor is his refreshing honesty, and his fearless willingness to address his journey — not just in the music industry, but through life itself.

On his latest episode, titled “Ergonomic Soapbox,” Taylor and his producer Millhouse have a frank conversation about their internal dialogue; about how the pressure we put on ourselves by overthinking lead to fear, self-doubt, and lack of trust. Those feelings can often have rippling effects on our personal and professional lives, and can cloud us from thinking clearly and focusing on the present.

This one goes deep, and it’s worth your time. Listen up!
