The Quinn’s Daily Spinn: Tuesday, January 7

Today’s special Daily Spinn will surely keep you warm in the dead of winter.

Missouri native and country artist Jared Hicks released a video for his single “Carhartt Coat” just in time for the weather to take a turn this past November. Since then, this tender, down-home trip down memory lane has garnered more than 44,000 views on YouTube, and renown from the rugged clothing manufacturer itself.

The song’s narrative is a touching one about the Carhartt coat Hicks wears, which became his once his father passed on. Since then, this coat has come to provide much more than physical warmth; indeed, it symbolizes the comfort of cherished memories, as only a treasured heirloom can.

You’re definitely going to feel this one. Watch “Carhartt Coat” below!
