Tickets are on sale now for UnderDogs @ The Underdog, our songwriter night and networking mixer in celebration of our community.

Join us at The Underdog Nashville (3208 Gallatin Ave.), as long-time friends of UMC join a handful of our 2025 NEXT2RISE artists to showcase the talent and versatility within our community.

Tickets are just $10, and they can be found here. As for UnderDogs members? They get in FREE! That’s just one more reason to become an UnderDog today!

As for what you can expect? Here’s the plan!

The rumors are true! We’ll make our return to the Nashville live scene on Wednesday, April 30 when we present UnderDogs @ The Underdog,’ a songwriter showcase and networking mixer in celebration of our new Underdogs community!

Multiple NEXT2RISE artists — including Da’ Healerz, Nicolas Soul, and Kelsey Muse — will be featured alongside other longtime friends of UMC. $10 is the price of admission… but UnderDogs members already have a spot on the guest list!

The full lineup is below! If you’re not an UnderDogs member yet, now is a great time to join and have your ticket included in your membership!

Nashville Meets Bethlehem: The Playlist

You may have heard us talking about this thing we’re doing back home in Bethlehem, PA next week. The concept: take eight local (or locally-tied) songwriters, and put on a mega-event in the form of a Nashville-style writers round.

The event? It’s Nashville Meets Bethlehem, taking place on Bethlehem’s iconic SteelStacks campus on Friday, November 17. And — as we’re known to do — we’re so excited that we decided to make a playlist about it!

Nashville Meets Bethlehem: The Playlist features a total of 16 tracks — two each from our lineup of The Beautiful Distortion, Billy Bauer (of Billy Bauer Band), Bobby Siegfried (Chasing Daylight), Bronte Fall, Carly Comando (Slingshot Dakota), Chelsea Mitchell (Dirty Dollhouse), Roi and the Secret People, and TIOGA.

In other words, we’ve given you 16 good reasons to get your tickets to the show — and we’re sure you’ll find many more good reasons to be in the building when the big night arrives!

We mentioned a couple weeks back that the Underground Writers Round would be gracing your screens once again on Friday, May 15. So, how about a lineup to go with that announcement?

This month, we’ll once again include writers from multiple time zones, who will share their songs and stories with you, one by one. The fun starts at 5 p.m. CT, and we’ll be featuring a total of four writers, all in the same round.

Here’s Next Week’s Virtual Underground Writers Round Lineup

Last week, we let the cat out of the bag that we’re going forward with a virtual version of our Underground Writers Round this month!

The online event will take place over on Facebook Live on Friday, April 17 from 5-7 p.m. CDT. The beautiful thing about this, of course, is that we can invite folks from anywhere to join in. So, that’s what we’ve done.
