Hey, everybody! My name is Michael Duck; I am Not For Coltrane. And at 7 p.m. on April 28, I’ll get to join some amazing performers onstage at Godfrey Daniels for “Come Together 2018,” a show benefiting “No Place for Hate.”
This is our second annual show supporting “No Place for Hate,” a program that’s in schools across the Lehigh Valley — along with 46 school districts across Pennsylvania, and many more across the U.S. It aims to help kids figure out how to get along with each other: Reducing bullying, increasing respect for each other, and challenging anti-Semitism, racism, and bigotry in all its forms.
We had a lot of fun at last year’s show, but this year we’re partnering with Lehigh Valley Underground and SouthSide Arts District to pull together a much bigger event! And for the performance itself, we’re going to have seven (seven!) performers onstage at once, swapping songs and playing together. I’m thrilled that I’ll get to share a stage with these six other performers:
